Marriage & Family Alive: (Begins Sept. 16) In this group, a variety of teachers will speak on a number of topics for couples, parents and families. Watch the bulletin for a list of topics that will help take your relationships and parenting skills to the next level. You can join at any time.

GRIEF SHARE
If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who understand and will walk alongside you. Cathy Pfeif and Pat Hoff will begin a GriefShare group on Thursday, September 9 at 7 pm in E. Syracuse. A NIGHT WITH THE CHAPMANS
A concert with Steven Curtis Chapman, his wife Mary Beth, and their boys Will and Caleb will be held at the Chapel on Friday, November 19 at 7:00 pm. (Tickets may be purchased exclusively at Believers' Chapel until September 19 with no added fees. After September 19, tickets will be available at www.itickets.com on the internet or phone and will include fees up to $12 per ticket.)

BELIEVERS' SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

Fall semester classes are "John's Writings" (Mondays at 2 pm) and "Intro to Biblical Counseling" (Mondays at 7 pm). Both classes will be taught by Pastor Mike Webster.
Believers' School of Ministry now has an articulation agreement with Portland Bible College that will provide for full transfer of work done at BSOM toward a degree with PBC. 12-STEPS
12-Steps is for anyone who is dealing with addictions or dysfunctional, life controlling patterns. Jesus is The Higher Power who offers hope, healing, love and freedom. Meets on Wednesdays at 7 pm.
THE PULSE (YOUNG ADULTS)

OPPORTUNITIES TO CARE
TWO BUY TWO: Can you help us restock the food pantry and bless those who are in need? When you buy groceries each week, just choose one item that you're buying, BUY TWO, and donate the second to the Food Pantry. It's that easy. Your donations can be dropped off at the bakers rack next to the door. Needed items right now are: school snacks. ramen noodles, jello, canned corn, paper towels, maple syrup, peaches or pears, grape jelly, penne pasta, rigatoni, creamy peanut butter.

Many people are experiencing difficult financial times. The Chapel cares about you and wants to help. Please take advantage of these opportunities:
Food Pantry: The Food Pantry is available to anyone who is in need of groceries. Call Colleen at 699-4140 in advance to make your request. Items may be picked up on Wednesday or Thursdays from 4 - 5:30 pm.
Free Bread and Bagels are available to you in the Chapel lobby on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 - 5:30 pm. Just stop in.
PRAYER MINISTRY
What a way to show care for others by lifting their needs before the Lord. Join us this week for these prayer opportunities:
Monday Night Intercessory Prayer meets from 7:00 - 8:30 pm each Monday in room #20. "All things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive," Matthew 21:22. Join us as we lift up our Chapel needs, prayer requests and community and government before the Lord.
PreService Prayer meets in the Worship Center before the weekend services, Saturday from 5:15 -5:45 pm and Sunday from 9:15-9:45 am. During this time we pray for the service and our pastors and leaders, as well as seek the Lord for a spirit of revival in the church and for His manifest presence among us. New LIFE Group
