Ann Marie has been attending the Chapel since 1993 and is often one of the first smiling faces you see when you enter Believers' Chapel. Ann Marie coordinates and participates with the volunteers who minister at the Information Center as well as preparing our bulletins, brochures, publications and flyers. The next time you are at the Chapel, stop by our reception desk and say "hello" - you are sure to receive a warm greeting from whomever is serving there!
Timothée Bateman, Worship Director
Timothée has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance and a minor in a Religious Studies. Answering God's call for him to pursue the next level of his ministry of strengthening and expanding the body of the Lord through worship, he brings his training and expertise from Baton Rouge, LA to Believers' Chapel. He will use his creativity and insight to enhance the Chapel's vision and further its mission locally, nationally, and internationally. Timothée and his wife Shelly are the proud parents of Caleb and Jonathan, and they are delighted to be a part of the Chapel family.
Joey Bolognone, Assistant Worship Director
As an Assistant Worship Director of the Chapel, Joey oversees the youth music department. co-leads the weekend services and special events. This multi-talented musician graduated from Faith Heritage High School where he led worship and served as class chaplain. Although his degree is in Business Administration, he formed a band while in college and began writing music, recording and traveling the United States reaching the world with the message of Jesus Christ. Joey also has his own recording studio and song writing company.
Max Crawford, Technical Director
Max originally came from Dolgeville, NY and has been technology driven his entire life. Max has an Associates Degree in Computer Network Technology from Herkimer County Community College. Max was a peer tutor while in college and then became a PC Technician at a Cooperstown medical center. Max is very excited to have been able to mix ministry and technology by joining the team here at Believers' Chapel.
Terri Dolson, Executive Assistant
Terri is the Executive Assistant to Senior Pastor Mel Hayes. Terri has attended the Chapel since 2000 with her husband, Mickey, and her two grown children, Corey and Justina. Over the years, she has become increasingly involved in ministries, beginning with the Worship Team, as a LIFE Group Leader, in Women's Ministry, Connections Ministry and developed a Card Ministry, all while working as a medical biller. Terri feels this position is an answer to prayer, allowing her to serve Believers' Chapel using her Administrative and ministry background.
Todd Emmons, Facilities Manager
Todd has worked in the construction field with building codes and facility operations for 10 years. He owns several properties in the Syracuse area, and is familiar with the procedures necessary to maintain buildings. Todd also worked for a large company managing several facilities, before he went on to manage a fire & water restoration company. Todd’s desire to use his talent to further God's Kingdom brought him to Believers' Chapel. Todd has been attending the Chapel for two years now, with his wife, Megan and two children, Noah and brand-new baby, Avery.
Paula Gillette, Children's Ministry
Paula Gillette has been a member of the Chapel family since 2007. In 2008, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Paula found her calling serving in the Children’s Ministry. Throughout, the Lord developed her gift to teach and reach children and their families. She has been an important part in the development of BCKids and Parent Enrichment Courses. Paula believes that healthy parents + healthy children = healthy homes and finds fulfillment guiding families to achieve their very best for the kingdom of God.
Cindy Millet, Children's Ministry
Cindy Millet has attended Believers’ Chapel since 1996. A wife and mother of 3 children, Cindy also has a heart to serve. Having a degree in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, she has used her education and gifting to faithfully minister to the families that either visit or attend Believers’ Chapel. She has been a faithful part of the nursery staff, church staff, e-prayer team and co-leader in the Children's Ministry. Of all the things she is involved in, her greatest passion is the empowerment of children in their walk with the Lord.
Burnell Reid, Jr., Worship Director
and Technical Support
Besides working full-time as a tech support technician, Burnell served as Minister of Music at Refuge Tabernacle COGIC for twenty years where his father Pastors. Burnell is skilled in playing several instruments, including piano/keyboard/organ, bass guitar and drums. He is also a singer/song writer, studio/sound engineer and vocal coach and trainer. Currently, Burnell is engaged full-time at Believers’ Chapel, utilizing his musical skills, leadership, ministry experience, and technical knowledge as Worship Director and Tech Support. Burnell has been married to his beautiful wife, Verna Reid, for twenty years, raising their two sons, Trenell and Vernell “Champ” Reid.
Katie Revere, Hospitality Coordinator
Katie and her husband, Tom, have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Zoey. Katie was born and raised in Farmington, NY and moved to Syracuse a little over five years ago. Katie has an Associates Degree in Science from Monroe Community College and worked in the health insurance industry for ten years. Katie joined the staff at the Chapel to work with our Facilities Manager in keeping our facility running smoothly and provide a pleasant atmosphere for our congregation, visitors and guests.
Sheralyn Wellman, Worship Director
Sheralyn Wellman holds an A.A.S. Degree in Music from Onondaga Community College, though the amount of experience she has from various musical endeavors outside the classroom far surpasses a usual education. As Worship Director, Sheralyn fuses her 10+ years of experience in strict vocal training, piano, teaching, choral directing, live band performance, studio recording, and award-winning composition with her fierce love for worshiping her Heavenly Father. She strongly believes in fostering the gifts God has given her and using them for His glory in whatever facet He provides for her at the time. When she realized the next step in her career was to bring glory to God through worship music, Sheralyn quickly jumped at the opportunity to serve at Believers' Chapel.
Bethanie Woods, Custodial Service
With a heart for serving the Lord, Bethanie first started attending the Chapel in 2004 with her family and has been coming here ever since. Bethanie loves to draw in her spare time and her desire is to continue to serve the Lord however she can. She's a welcome addition to the staff as she takes on the responsiblity of keeping our Chapel shining for the Lord. When you see Bethanie, give her a hearty hello!
