Alien Invasion

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.

Devotional:
Review the definitions of Alienation, Alien, and Invasion below, as these terms are critical to know for your successful daily operation in the Kingdom of God.
Alienation (noun) – the state or experience of being isolated from a group or an activity to which one should belong or in which one should be involved.
Alien (adjective) – belonging to a foreign country or nation.
Invasion (noun) – an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity.
Whether you knew it or not, prior to making the decision to accept the gift of salvation that Jesus graciously offers to mankind, you were alienated from God (Colossians 1:21); meaning, your mindset was influenced and sourced from the Satan (opposer/adversary) – known as, the ruler of this world. Thankfully, after accepting Jesus’s gift, you were given a new residency status as a citizen in His Kingdom.
Moreover, Satan’s thoughts, will and desires are completely in opposition to Jesus’s and whenever possible, he will seek to mount an Alien Invasion in your life using adversaries, demons, false teachers, false prophets, and false apostles to bombard your mind with thoughts, ideas and responses that are unaligned with the Kingdom of God.
For instance, when someone offends you, do you hold a grudge, or forgive them? When someone curses you, do you curse them back, or bless them? What about when you’re given a task, do you complete it satisfactorily, or do you greatly exceed expectations? Brothers and Sisters, since you are no longer a resident in his kingdom, Satan is determined and will try his best to bring you back by leveraging temptation throughout your life.
I implore you, use whatever means necessary to protect yourself from Alien Invasion because you have a great work to accomplish for the Kingdom of God! You might ask, “How can, or should I protect myself?” The answer is simple – do what Jesus did. When Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, He fasted 40 days and was tempted by Satan. Jesus used the greatest weapon against Alien Invasion, the Word of God! Every instance in which Satan tempted Jesus, Jesus responded with “It is written…”; therefore, it is extremely important for you to know what is written! Read the bible every moment you get, listen to it when you’re driving your vehicle, let it play as you’re falling asleep. The more word you have, the more equipped you’ll be – it is the key to your transformation (Romans 12:2)
As a Kingdom Citizen it is imperative that you have a firm grasp on what your Heavenly Father, the King of Heaven, desires and requires of you. It is possible for you to have the mind of your Heavenly Father (Isaiah 55: 8 – 9), and studying the Word of God is the starting point. Always remember, the mind you possess determines your present state and will impact the trajectory of your future state.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, your word says to “Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. As I submit my whole being before you, I ask that you open my understanding and enhance my ability to recall your words so I can defend myself from and resist Alien Invasions. Position me around true teachers, true prophets and true apostles that will instruct me in the Way and reveal your Kingdom to me so that my transformation may be accelerated and evident to all.
